iPod woe

So I finally got around to connecting my iPod to the new computer, and now it won't sync. It just keeps throwing up a read/write error. Ahrg! I suspect a corrupted file, as some stuff seems to transfer okay, but then one file kicks up a fuss and the whole thing grinds to a halt. How annoying! It's also given me a list of 100 songs that it won't transfer onto the iPod because it doesn't play those file formats - songs that, I'm sure, played on the iPod before. Little bastard.

I had problems like that with my Shuffle. It just randomly started having sync errors. I ran the check disk thingymajig on it, and that seemed to fix it. Is that an option on your computer?

I was going to try it this morning, but for some reason (not sure what!) it's working again now. I'll keep it in mind in case it goes wrong again though. Thanks :)
