Yeah, it was a really good one. I've never been to such a small con before, so it was a real experience. Everything seemed to run really smoothly, and the guests were all really fun. Did you get to enjoy any of it? I saw you running around the photo shoot when I was in there, but I didn't want to interrupt! :) I heard that Brian's laptop got stolen? That's so terrible, I can't believe anyone would do that to Brian, or anyone really. Poor guy.
I think we all seem to enjoy the smaller ones more, everything's a lot more relaxed. I didn't get to any talks but then I usually don't and that doesn't really bother me - although we did sneak in for a break in processing and watch the improv. *grin* I had a really good time, I think most if not all of the staff did, aside from the whole deal with the laptop. I guess we get so used to being at the Thistle now, it's a bit of a shock that someone would do that. :( At least it wasn't anyone at the convention, as far as I'm aware.
I suppose that's the downside of smaller cons - more "normals" hanging around the hotel. Ah well.
I didn't see a lot of the talks, but the ones I did were quite good. It's definitely more relaxed - we hardly queued for anything! :) I'm quite tempted by the thought of G4, just because this one was a good experience. We'll see.
