"Aliens made them do it" as an established subgenre of slash fic (and het, I think..) - I don't see why "ghosts made them do it" shouldn't be the next big thing! In fact, I don't see why it isn't a thing already. It sounds v cool to me.
My office is cold here, so I'm rather anti-air-con now, and more pro-blankets and hot drinks. Brrrr.
