Serenity 2
May. 27th, 2005 09:57 amJust popped by the Serenity 2 con website, and I see (as I'm sure everyone else already knew, that Sean Maher, Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau and Christina Hendricks (Saffron) have so far been announced. Has there ever been a Firefly or part-Firefly con that Nathan F hasn't been to? Pretty soon it's going to become collectable to have things not signed by him ;) If Sean could get Gina Torres along to Serenity 2 too, and Adam Baldwin .. well, that'd just be peachy :) Full set for me. Hurrah! :)
Boss MJ has gone off to do boss-ly things this morning, so she's out of the office, and Boss P is out too, so it's just me, N and R. Nice and quiet. Mmm :) Needless to say, I am slacking off terribly. Bad me. But it is a bank holiday weekend.
TPO was meant to phone on Wednesday or Thursday to let me know about tomorrow - will there be Sith? The answer is yes. Either yes because we will go and see the film, or yes because he'll not get his act together in time, but it'll be too late for me to go home and see my grandparents, so I'll turn to the dark side, rise up and slay his arse. So, yes, there will be Sith this weekend, one way or another.
My aunt C has also confirmed that her now ex- I think, but then again I'm not sure because one minute it's off and then it's on again and then it's off again and for the love of kittens can't they just make a fricking decision and stick with it??! partner is definitely not going on the family holiday this summer, so my "by default, I suppose we ought to invite someone along to fill the space so we don't have to pay for an empty bed, hmm who might be able to come?" place on the holiday is secured. Hm. Bitter? Moi? Why yes, yes I am.
Oh, teh Trauma!! Teh ANGST!! I think I will run off to my room, dye my hair black (ETA: *cough* again..), write bad poetry and cut myself a bit. Or, ya know, not. Because it's really not that bad. New Shoebox Project last night. The world cannot be all bad :)
Also? I miss
niannah. I hope Japan is treating her well.

Date: 2005-05-27 11:05 am (UTC)Mmmm, the Radisson... I love that hotel. I've been to a couple of cons there. and it's lovely. Holding it there is a huge selling point for me.

Date: 2005-05-27 11:13 am (UTC)I've only been to the Radisson twice, and I've never stayed there, but it did look nice. Much nicer than the Thistle, but then that's not exactly saying much. Give it some thought. There's no rush, after all.
