CSI, season 5, ep6

Woo! :D That sums it all up really. Not one but *two* Nick/Greg scenes, not huge lashings of Sara, no crazy!Catherine, Grissom being Grissom-y, the blue paint killer who was just as entirely creepy and yet not really as scary as you'd expect as he should be, Nick getting to be the one who figures out that the two killers were partners, not original and copycat, and getting to be the one imparting knowledge to another CSI, not always the little slow-readers-group one who needs everything explained to him so that the audience can follow along, and Nick recognising the "font" from the 'adult' store. Hahah. Oh man, it's all good.

I loved the Nick/Greg scene where they were going over the van, working together and just being perfect and all, but my favourite was the other scene. It was just short, and there were maggots in it (eew), but .. there are ways of saying "I know". There's "I'm annoyed that you think I didn't know that" I know, "Stop bothering me, I'm busy" I know, "Geez, how dumb do you think I am?" I know, "Please leave me alone so I can get on with this" I know, "Thanks for pointing that out" I know, "... I knew that, I so did" I know. The "I know" we got? That wasn't an "I know". That was an "I love you". Shut up, it so was. <3

No Warrick, but you can't have everything. My mistake, Warrick was in there, apparently. I clearly need to watch the ep again. What a hardship! Wait .. I think the version that is summarised on the CBS website either includes cut scenes, or the version I downloaded had scenes missing, because there are definitely things in here that I didn't see. Weirdness.

I'm still quite fond of Mia, in a weird kind of way that I can't quite explain, and I loved the group scene with all four of the main CSIs who were present sitting around talking together. I loved that it was all about the case, not about the characters, because that's really what it's *meant* to be.

So, yeah. Much love :) Am happy. Yes :)

In other news, I also love my new layout. The pictures are all by niannah, and I just moved them around a bit to make them fit my Opera LJ window. Pretty :) I also made cakes today. Mmmcake.

b) okay, back me up on this. I said that Greg from CSI and Andrew from Buffy have a remarkable resemblence. Am I right, or am I dreaming?

a). Huh. I promise they're there.

b). Well .. they have vaguely similiar hair-cuts, at times, I suppose. If you look at them the right way. Otherwise? Not so much.
