I read what may have been the first Due South story I've ever made it all the way through last night, and it put me in a Due South mood this morning, so I watched Call of the Wild again tonight. I love my show :) I love RayK and I love Fraser and I love the canon riding off into the sunset together ending. I love it all :) But, for the first time ever, I made it all the way through the final episode without crying. I think it's because I was in a generally positive frame of mind when I started watching it, and because it's been a while since I saw any Due South, so it was all good. I so love that show! :) May have to look for more fic tonight.

I messed around with my layout picture a bit, so it should fit into an IE window as well as an Opera window now. Well, my size of Opera and IE windows anyway. Can't please everyone, after all. God only knows what it looks like on Netscape *g*

I watched CSI season 4, ep .. something, "Getting Off", tonight. Nick and Warrick were in about one scene, towards the end, (I think), but otherwise it was quite good. And the drug addict girls made me think of season 6 of Buffy - all that stuff with Willow and Rack. When he was calling her "Strawberry"? He was so not referring to the way she "tasted", yo. It's all good research for DM AU though. I do end up shouting at the TV when Catherine goes off with Krycek though. "Don't do it Cath, don't do it!" She never listens.

I saw this week's Stargate ep as well, although I missed Atlantis because it clashed with CSI. A few thoughts on .. uh .. whatever it was called. Icon. )

So I just watched the preview for this week's CSI, and there was a familiar blonde woman. "Hm," thought I. "I know that face." So I imdb-ed her (which apparently is something Hollywood actors and actresses now do before they decide who they're going to date - weird much?) and discovered that it is Louise Lombard, who probably no one but me will remember from the BBC period drama series The House of Eliott, back in the early 90s, I think. It's going to be very strange, I won't be able to concentrate at all. She'll be running around doing CSI type things, and I'll be going, "Evie? Evie! What are you doing! Stop that, and go back to your dress designing and being slightly ahead of your time, your time being 1920s London! And stop speaking in that accent! Where's your received pronounciation?!" Strangeness! There are just some crossovers that are not meant to be, and I think this is one of them.
