Further to yesterday's post, about my mother's almost fan-like new love for Robin Hood, we were discussing Heroes in the car on the way home on Friday night, as you do, and I think she declared herself to be a Hiro/Ando shipper. "They're the most realistic couple," she said. Huh.

Just wait til season 2, mother. Then you'll see who's the most realistic couple ;D

I had a discussion on the phone with my mother yesterday all about Angel, and how Buffy canon fits in. It was quite possibly one of the most surreal things I've ever done (my mother claims she doesn't like scifi and fantasy, but has recently developed love for Harry Potter, Heroes and Angel) *g*

Hee, I was just watching the first three eps of season 2 this evening! So, so true. ;)

Parents are funny creatures. My mother can be pimped into scifi and fantasy fairly easily, but she doesn't usually enjoy "silly" things like Robin Hood, so that was a surprise, and I've never heard her talk unprompted about any sort of pairing before. I don't think she really meant it the way it sounded - she probably just meant as friends or whatever - but it was a totally bizarre moment.

Hehe, isn't it? I really want to rewatch s1 now, I'm feeling so much Heroes love.
