Apparently the "J Sheppard" from yesterday's thrilling post - who applied for a job here and is coming in for an interview next week - is not J Sheppard at all. S/He is Jay Sheppard. For a few minutes I thought they said Jane Sheppard, and I almost had an aneurysm.

Yeah. This is my life. *sigh*

There's a car salesman here in Eugene called John Sheppard, but alas, he is old and pudgy -- not like the John Sheppard we love so much.

Quite so. I also found a Dr Jackson on our database today. High excitement indeed, although he was Dr Michael Jackson, which rather took the fun out of it (for me, at least). ;)

Alas indeed! I shall have to hang around by the door buzzer so I can let "Jay" Sheppard in when s/he comes for his/her interview next week. I'll report back.
