Aw, man. I just fell off the bed with the most almighty scream, almost landed on (and crushed) my phone, and almost spilled milk all over my computer. My flatmate came running in, thinking I'd died in some horrible accident. I may have broken some toes, a knee, a wrist (but probably not).

Note to self: You are too old to dance on the bed.

A ha ha, ouch! I do hope you aren't as broken as all that. And also, dancing on the bed? Hee hee, adorkable. *g*

Ow!

I once slipped coming out of the shower and landed in a heap as the shower door battered against the wall. I lived with two guys at the time, and all I could think was 'please god, tell me I remembered to lock the bathroom door.' *g*

Totally. It still hurts! Although I think some of the pain is the *emotional* pain of having made such an idiot of myself ;)

Me too! Nothing's swelled up though, so it's not really that bad.

Doesn't everyone dance on their beds? It's totally fun. Except when you get too old for it and end up falling off, of course.

Well, my bed's from Argos and my ceiling is low and slanted, so dancing on my bed is not really an option. I dance on the floor, though! And I sing. We're all adorkable in our own ways. *g*

I'm glad nothing has swelled up. Next time you dance on your bed, perhaps stay towards the middle?

I did that once, at my old house, which was shared with about 8 other people. Thankfully no one heard me fall! Most embarrassing. This time, I explained my screaming fit as being about my almost-crushed phone - normal people can understand you getting upset about almost breaking your mobile, but dancing on your bed in the first place is a little harder to explain, so we neatly (I think) side-stepped that entire issue. Phew!

lol

I'm sat here with my leg on the desk and ice on my knee...no clue what I've done!

My bed's from Argos too - maybe that's the problem! Although yes, moving towards the edge - artistic though it may be - is probably not the wisest of moves, under the circumstances.

Oooops! Hope there aren't too many bruises. At least your important electronic equipment came away unscathed from your dancing accident. The worst thing about accidents like that is the embarrassment factor!

I don't seem to have bruised at all. It's almost disappointing, except that it allows me to deny the entire thing, which is probably fortunate because I don't want (all) my work colleagues knowing I'm a bed-dancing weirdo. The embarrassment is definitely the worst part!
