Okay, all-knowing Livejournal. I need help.

What does one wear to Ladies' Day at Ascot? Particularly when one is networking one's way around a corporate box with a £500 ticket?

WTF!!!

Never mind. My boss won't let me go. Woe :'(

Even though you're not going now, you could always create one out of tinfoil and cardboard tubes and wear it in protest at work!

When it was Royal Ascot At York the year before last, I had fun watching all the people in silly hats and far too high shoes tottering down the corridors in the Travelodge.

Hehe. We're quite close to Ascot, so I get to see them all tottering about on the train, trying to pretend they aren't drunk - that's quite fun *g*
