I overslept this morning, and then I got shampoo in my eye. Yeah, one of those days. Ouch. It still hurts.

I've been at work for over an hour and a half, and so far I've spent almost all that time reading LJ, commenting on LJ, and now posting on LJ. I apologies to everyone I've commented to, because I've been very verbose and really no one needs that level of caffeine-fueled thought at this hour of the morning.

Lost starts tonight. I think Channel 4 must've been whoring out every dancing girl they own these last few weeks, because Lost is everywhere, and all the reviews I've seen are very favourable. If it doesn't get huge ratings, it'll be quite a shock.

We're going to see Miss Saigon tomorrow, at Woking. I'm quite distressed actually - I booked months ago, and therefore didn't realise that by going on a Thursday it'd mean missing House! They don't repeat House, you know. Bloody channel 5 and their not repeating stuff. Grr ahrg.

See what I mean? Verbose rambling. I'll stop now and actually do some work. Probably. Only three more days until R gets back, and I'm meant to have sent this thing off to the printers and got a proof back and all the rest, and it isn't even finished yet. Oops. She's going to kill me.

I'm really enjoying your discussion in my LJ. I can't remember DS9 to that degree of detail so I can't take part, but I am finding it v interesting and illuminating. Feel free to continue. :)

Yowch on the whole shampoo thing.

Lost <3<3<3 Though I've reached the sweeps episodes and they're creeping me the hell out. I had to turn on the light to go to the bathroom the other night. How wussy!

Heh, I'm glad you're enjoying it. :) I did worry that we were getting a bit loud, and I thought, "hm, this is Anna's journal, not mine. She's getting all these emails and she's probably going 'wtf shut up!'" I'm not sure whether it counts as a discussion, as Aph and I basically agree with each other entirely. Perhaps it is an exchange of varying levels of agreement. *g*

It really hurt. My eye was all, ow ow ow! And it stills stings a bit even now. :( Stupid shampoo. I shall never wash again! *note: this is not a binding promise*

I was totally meh, whatever about Lost, but all this publicity and stuff, I'm quite looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about tonight. Although I see Ian Somerhalder (?) is in it, which will be odd. He'll always be That Bloke From Smallville to me. For a while, anyway.

It's very kind of you to think about that but I have enjoyed keeping up with it all morning. Had to shut down MSN while FB was on the comp, though, in case she clicked a pop-up, lol.

I'm glad the whole washing thing is not a binding promise, since, even though it'll be Cee sharing a room with you at Serenity Squared, I'll still be in your company, you know? And soap is good in crowds.

Ian Somerholder is That Bloke With In-Built Make Up to me, although in last night's episode he was v good. I am not crazy about him but he's good. They haven't covered his back story yet, but I'm looking forward to it when they do. Matthew Fox is bloody gorgeous, and that's worth watching for in and of itself. *g*

Oh god, will I need to pack a breathing mask? Or perhaps shampoo and some burly men. Perhaps I'll courier Em some Johnsons No Tears baby shampoo. Will that help?

That was a very enjoyable post on your journal! I wish I'd been reading that at work today instead of having annoying meetings where I actually had to think about stuff...

I think Boone has had his make up tattooed on in a Michael Jackson style.

I think you should bring some burly men regardless.

Burly men, shampoo and marmite. All the convention essentials.

Burly men? Now I'm wondering what will be going on in your room and I'm thinking that maybe I shouldn't bring my young sister after all!

I was wondering where you were. Stupid meetings.

I think you must be right about Boone. I'm liking his character more and more now, though. At first he seemed like filler, but they're rounding him out.

Love your Sayyid icon. *g*

They're certainly giving it enough publicity that it should do well.
