I went over to ff.net as soon as I finished the book (before most people in this timezone due to my speedy reading) and there was already stuff posted.
Nothing good can be written and posted that quickly. Especially not at The Pit.
I'm coming up empty. Well, I've been reading Cartographer's Craft by Sam, and I just stumbled on a first chapter of what looks to be an H/D fic by mistful, but, having checked, they're both on your flist, so not much help...
Er, musesfool has been writing Sirius/Remus - I haven't been reading it (except this one, which was well done, but depressing), but she's usually good.
I kinda thought more people'd be writing. I haven't been reading much in HP for ages, but I still read some of the HP people for the meta and I had a quick skim too just then, and there really isn't that much non drabble-type fic.
Thanks :) Crack Broom - why did I not know about this already? I will check that one out this afternoon.
mistful's stuff I've read. Every word. <3 Sam's I haven't. It's Sirius/Harry isn't it? I'm sure it's very good, as he's a great writer, but Sirius/Harry isn't really my cup of tea.
I'm sure people are writing really. They're just putting stuff up on their own LJs and it doesn't get mass-readership unless it gets recced all over the place.
