Ahah! Just happened to flick over to BBC2 to see if Greg was still playing the tie-break (damn it), and there was the most wonderous thing! No, not a Brit doing well at Wimbledon - not quite that wonderous. Dr Who - the Christmas Invasion: The countdown starts now. Whee!

That ad was on on Saturday before Casualty. I was mighty annoyed, because I'd taped Dr Who due to Mam being out and I'd been instructed I wasn't to watch it without her. Turned the TV on to watch Casualty and saw Billie staring at David Tennant saying "Hello!" and felt rather spoiled. I'd deliberately made sure I didn't read anything that specified whether he was regenerating in the last episode or not.

Ah, that's very annoying. I suppose they couldn't compensate for everyone who hadn't been able to see it when it was on at 7pm, but it would've been better to leave it for a few days before they started showing the ads - at least until it had been reshown on BBC3 on Sunday, maybe.

Yes - while naturally I'm of the opinion that they should do everything to accomodate me, and screw everyone else ... heh ... I was more annoyed with myself for not considering that they might still be milking the hype. Would have rathered miss the beginning of Casualty, considering I was just watching it for something to watch. Eh. At least I didn't spoil the actual regeneration for myself.
