The top story on the news today? Is that a few flakes of snow have fallen in a few places about the country. Honestly. A bit of snow and the entire country grinds to a halt. We're not built for weather, we brits.

*snicker* If you think Brits aren't built for weather, check out Californians sometime. "RAIN IN THE SOUTHLAND" has been our thing since about Christmas.

In a few places towards the north of the country, two, maybe even three inches of snow have fallen. The breakfast tv news people are calling it "The Big Chill", and have sent their weather girls and boys off around the country to stand about in woolly hats going, "gosh, it's jolly cold up here!" I love my country *g*

Yup, and it's not even cold. The only reason the snow isn't melting is because so much of it has fallen. If it was this temperature without snow, I'd call it mild for February.

I'm laughing my butt off at all the people around here. And pointing out that the only thing that closed schools when I was a Spawn was three-foor frozen snowdrifts accross the road. The roads are clear, what are they pissing and moaning about?

In other news, I am looking at your icon and wondering, would you happen to have any knowledge of SG:A Zelenka canon details? I ask because I may need them for fic purposes, so they or a point in the right direction for source material on him would be most appreciated.

He doesn't really have much canon. He's Czech, and he's almost as smart as Rodney. That's about it :)

Heh, we're so awful. "OMG SNOW!" we say, after two flakes have fallen. "WE'LL BE TRAPPED UNTIL AUGUST!! WE'LL BE BURIED ALIVE!! AHRG!!" And then the snow stops. *g*
