This slow connection kicks my ass yo. It totally does. I loathe it. 31.2K. Surely there's a clause in the Geneva Convention about this kind of thing - something about cruel and unusual punishment? Anyway, brief update - I got paid on Thursday, yay, and I quit my job today, oops. May have been the wrong decision, but it's done now and I can't take it back and .. I don't know. I need some time to process. Anyway, I'm unemployed again, for now. I suck. Everyone at work was lovely about it, and they bought me flowers even though I only told them I was leaving this morning.

Anyway, I'm home for Xmas, but like I say, my connection sucks, so don't expect much contact or anything. I've booked my Serenity ticket, so that's good to go :D I <3 you all dearly, merry Christmas, happy holidays, seasons greetings, etc. Thank you for the cards, people who sent cards. You know who you are :) <3 Tomorrow, off to face the family, who don't yet know about the job quitting, so I will get to say "how's the job going? Well actually, I quit yesterday. Yeah, I know, I suck. Thanks for reminding me, and on Christmas day too." Great. But also - CSI DVDs, hurrah! At long last :) And now I must go, because I am paying per minute for this. Woe. Woe! <3

Also I must turn this song off repeat but .. I can't .. <3 :)

ETA: Also, someone - not mentioning any names but it rhymes with Banana. Sort of - sent me a big-ass file that's kicking my 31.2K email download. Thanks, yo ;P

Don't worry about it. If it wasn't working out then it's the best thing really. I packed in a job last year and I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do at the time but in hindsight I'm glad I did it. Anyway, new DVDs make everything better!

And most importantly - Serenity! Yay!

Yay indeed :) I finally gave in and phoned during the day from a work phone. Bad me *g* But at least it's done and ordered and I know for sure I'll be there yay! :)

I'd delete it if I could, but I can't get in to my webmail atm and it's, what 2mb? At 31.2Kps .. well, it's going to take a while to arrive, and until it does, I can't get any of my mail. It's my fault though, I should've deleted it when I noticed it at work today, but I got distracted. Ah well.

Hah :) Well, we'll see. I'm sure it'll be okay really.

They were very lovely about it all. Which made me think maybe I should've stayed, but no, I'm sure I made the right decision. I think.
