CSI: Mea Culpa, season 5, ep 9
Nov. 27th, 2004 02:57 pmHah! Amazon just dispatched my CSI DVDs! :D *dances* Seasons 1 and 2. MmmmMMmmmmmMMMMm goodness :D
In other CSI news, this morning I watched
Well .. it wasn't as bad as I expected. I know a lot of people aren't too happy about the whole splitting up the team thing, and I can't see it lasting too long either, because the core of the show is a team of people working together, but it doesn't bother me too much at this stage that they've been separated. Except that now we've got Gris/Sara/Greg on one case and Cath/Nick/Warrick on another *every damn week* until this is resolved. That annoys me. And, good god!, Sophia needs to die! *cough*MarySue*cough* She is so annoying. I don't like what they've done with Ecklie, he just seems to have become a hideous characature, not a realistic character. I'm feeling more kindly disposed towards Mia at the moment, not just because she was listening to Avril on Greg's advice (listening to music, not to Avril herself, was Greg's advice), but because I decided that she was uncomfortable and/or confused last week over the s/he issue because she's used to dealing with DNA with is one or the other and can't be changed, so changing things around confused her. Also she only had, what, one scene? Which is fine. The cast is getting too big. Too big! Get rid of Ecklie, get rid of Sophia, stop convoluting your storylines and focus on the stuff that keeps people watching.
There was good though too. I so love Brass, he's just fantastic. There really ought to be more Brass/Grissom slash in the world, because they're just tres cute together *G* Hehe. I love Bobby too, and his scene was just great, although a bit weirdly written. He (the actor) did it all marvellously though. I liked the Greg/Sara story, for the most part, and it was quite nice to see Sara taking the lead a bit more strongly.
They were very unreasonable to Grissom, and if I were him I'd file a complaint, yo, especially about being saddled with Ms Prissy McAnnoying on my team. I'm not entirely sure what the whole swing shift thing means, but that's because I am a stupid European, which can't be helped. I remain positive and hopeful, however. Probably because I have been CSI deprived this week, so anything seems good. <3
ETA: Oh yeah, and was anyone else watching that last scene in the diner and wondering where Nick's other hand was? Just me? Okay then. *g*
And now, I must go, before my family descend. Meep!
