Sorry for the high amount of posting recently. Stress = lots of posts, and they're all bloody whinging. I'm in a better mood now :) Moulin Rouge soundtrack! Hurrah!

I just finished watching this week's CSI episode, the 100th episode no less. I've read two reviews by people on my flist, one positive and one negative, which caused great confusion, since, as you know, I am but a sponge for other people's opinions, and now I have two different opinions to soak up and call my own, I don't know what to think. But I'm sure as heck gonna try! Mostly, I liked it :) There was Nick, there was Greg, there was Nick doing the following things: checking out transexuals, saying Greg's name and giggling like a girl, just being Nick <3 There was Greg saying "penis", wearing a shirt, being in the lab, doing vital research work, and generally being cute. There was Grissom being .. Grissom-like about the transexual woman, which given that I've just recently read a Grissom/Paul Milander story (y'all know which one I mean, I'm pretty sure there is only one), was quite interesting. Warrick was lovely, Archie yay! David has someone he's buying a ring for (omg cute! <3), and Sara was on form, talking about shaving and suchlike.

Nick didn't appear until 22 minutes into the ep (yes, I did time it), but once he did appear he got quite a lot to do, so I shan't complain too much. I'm quite fond of Mia, as you may know, but she was in the ep *far too much*! And her lame "he? she?" comments were extremely annoying. Sara told her once, "I think it's she", which I believe it is. That should've been enough. She was clearly making a point that she's not comfortable with the whole idea, as her little unfunny joke showed, which makes me not like her any more. It does also make me think of future never-will-be-filmed-but-wouldn't-it-be-cool-if-they-were scenes where Mia finds out about Nick and Greg and freaks out and reports them to IA. Hehe. But anyway, mostly it just annoyed me.

It was freaksome to see the woman doctor because I recognised her but couldn't place her until someone on someone else's flist identified her as Maggie Walsh!! Her husband was bloody annoying. "Omg stop oppressing me! Just because we're *different* Omg!!" No dude, it's because your wife botched an op and left some poor dead chick on an operating table in a storage facility, and you killed another chick, you big mook! *smack* The whole "transexuals can't get their ops, so they go blackmarket and things go wrong leik omg woah" storyline has been done over and over and over, and better, I think. Really, for their 100th ep, CSI could've found something better to go with. But then maybe that's better. Just treat it like any other episode. I mean, 100 is a landmark and all, and good for them, but there's no requirement to write a special ep or anything. The regular eps are the reason we watch the show (that and the Nick/Greg, or whatever your particular poison happens to be) - why should the 100th be different from those eps we love.

So, yeah, I mostly liked it. I hope it won't be my last season 5 episode until .. god knows when. I'm coming home next Friday evening, at least that's the current plan, so I'll download next week's ep then. Though from the sounds of things, I might be better just stopping now and living on in blissful ignorance.

We've decided not to go to Newbury tomorrow, because we were both in horrible cranky moods today and couldn't be bothered with the idea of bloody flat hunting, so we're going to spend tomorrow (today really) doing "useful" and "productive" things. Which is almost worse. TMO is driving me up the f***ing wall, but that's nothing new, and I don't want to go on and on about it again. Tomorrow we must shop for a bag and some shoes, and there's a list of about ten billion stupid things we have to do too. I will never rest again. *sigh*
