MI6, Scottish Power, and mpreg

Just when I think I finally have you Americans figured out, something entirely strange happens and I'm all confused again. If I got investigated every time I made an idle threat against Tony Blair's life, there'd be a unit of MI6 agents parked outside my house 24/7. Which might be fun.

Speaking of, wtf is up with LJ tonight? It troubles me with its crappiness.

A nice little chap from Scottish Power came round today to try and get me to switch my electric or gas or something to them. Our exchange went something like this:

Him: "What's you blah blah something techy techy tech tech electricity?"
Me: "Wtf? Sorry, I don't know."
Him: "Well, what about your blah something blah tech tech tech tech."
Me: "??? Sorry, I don't handle this stuff."
Him: "Okay then. Is your husband home?"
Me: "... I wish."

Needless to say, we did not switch to Scottish Power.

I spent all day yesterday and today playing in my new CSIverse in Sims 2. Grissom is a little logical diva, and managed to get his logic score up to 8/10 points in about three days. Unfortunately he also got himself abducted by aliens, and this afternoon he gave birth to a little alien baby girl who we have named Daisy for no reason I can think of. I knew that Grissom mpreg fic I read once would come back to haunt me eventually.

In my un-defence, I haven't actually had to change a plug in years, but I'm pretty sure I could do it.

I got into the habit of not sending receipts when I was in Sunderland, because I couldn't send outgoing mail from Outlook Express, but I did get it, so don't worry :) It's not dreadful at all.
