Went to the shops (what I believe would be termed the "outlet mall" by those who term things) today and bought a pair of "interview" boots at vast expense (not mine) although they were in the sale, and a pair of new trainers for the gym at relatively little expense (mine) which were also on sale. Hurrah for sales! I came this close to buying a thick, long, beige cardigan in Marks and Spencer. This icon has never been more appropriate *hides face in shame* But I didn't buy it. Only because it was £17, even at the outlet store, and I am far too cheap to spend that much money, especially when I don't have any money to spend.

I'm four episodes into the second half of CSI season 3. I <3 it so much :) I really want to get seasons 1 and 2, and I'm even thinking about getting 4 on region 1, even though I'm not sure my DVD player is multiregion, but the region 1 season 4 DVDs don't come out until way into next year, and I can't wait that damned long. I need my fix. For now, though, season 3 will have to do (along with everything they're showing on Living and channel 5), because, as I mention far too frequently, I have no money.

I can't be too mean about TMO at the moment, as she bought me boots today, but she only did it because she wants me to get a job. I keep pointing out (a little too much, but really, I am reacting to her intensely annoying pushiness) that no one wants to interview me, so there's really little point having interview boots and planning interview answers and reading articles about how to be interviewed. She's also started whinging on about the bloody council tax again, and how I ought to go register as unemployed so she gets a council tax break or something. Whatever. I tune it out as soon as I figure she's on that track again.

I realise it's Trio Fic posting day (notice would've been nice, my lovelies), but I'm not confident that the next part of DM AU will be posted today. I would love, dearly love, to get it posted, but we're off to the gym in half an hour or so, and .. well, family, fic writing, not a good combination. I'll certainly try though.

I had more stuff to say, probably more whining about TMO, but I can't remember what it was, so I think you're going to be spared for now. My broadband man is coming tomorrow. Yay!! There are not words :)

I apologise. I thought you were still online when we posted, but then you had gone, and we went ahead and posted anyway. We figure with me, VT and PM there'll be at least some, and then DM AU whenever you have it ready. :)

I'd probably buggered off to watch CSI, knowing me *g*

I'm writing it now.

Heh heh. I did bugger off to watch Wilde for a while (do you like the pun?) so I can't blame you.

And yay. :)

Very witty *G*

I don't know how far I'm going to get. TMO has decided that now is the perfect time to go nextdoor, into the kitchen, and liquidise soup. No. Words. *falls over* Mind you, it's not like she realises I need quiet so I can write fic or anything. But it is annoying.

I'm looking forward to your mother's holiday. Not that I don't like her, you know, but just for purely selfish reasons.

Liquidise soap? Huh. Does she know that you can buy it pre-liquidised?

Me too. Oh god, me too.

*cough* I meant soup. I was distracted my the noise of soup being liquidised, and by trying to spell liquidised correctly.

... You actually wrote soup. Not soap.

Why would you liquidise soup? Isn't soup inherently liquid?

It's *lumpy* liquid. Liquidising = making it non-lumpy.

I'm sure that Play.com are having a sale on the CSI DVD boxed sets at the moment, at least for Seasons 1 and 2.

If I knew for sure that it'd work, I'd probably get it, but I don't know, and I'm not really able to spend £30 on something which might be useless, especially when I could be spending that £30 on season 1 and 2. S4 will have to wait, for now.

Yeah, that makes sense, especially as S4 is on TV anyway at the moment.

I was bad and bought S1 from somewhere, it was £17.97 per box set so I was impressed.

It was weird when I watched it as somethings I hadn't got suddenly made perfect sense!

CSI is horribly addictive.Wonder if they have some TV Version of crack emanating from it while it's on. Even my Mum is addicted to it now.On Ch5, it's Season 4 anyway...I was the vampire one last night?

I think they must do. TMO is mildly addicted too. Every time she walks in and I'm watching CSI she says "why didn't you call me!" and starts watching it too. Crack, definitely. They're showing s4 on channel 5 and on Living. Channel 5 are a few weeks ahead. Yes, it must've been the vampire one. I get a bit confused over which are 4 and which are 3 because I am watching them all at the same time and I sometimes forget which is from the DVD and which I saw on TV. I was convinced, for example, that "11 angry jurors" was season 3, until I checked the DVDs and realised that it was on Living on Friday night. Oops! *g*
