Hullo Dreamwidth. I'm not going to start crossposting (yet), because a). I don't really see any need, and b). I'm not clever enough to set that sort of thing set up, but .. hello :)
It's actually really, really easy to set up semagic to cross post. Setting it up so that you can use tags on sites other than livejournal can be a little problematic, but not insurmountable, but setting it up for other sites really is that easy.
If you want to make sure you can use tags as well, then you'll need this post. It's towards the bottom of that post, and it's a little bit more complicated because it involves editing your registry. But the instructions are still fairly simple, and you can always yell in my direction if you need help :)
Thanks. That's really helpful. I'm not intending to crosspost at the moment, but you never know, and even if I don't I'll still need to set up semagic to post here as well as to LJ, so it's definitely useful info. :)

Okay, here's a fairly clear version of how to set up various accounts on semagic. It also tells you how to post to more than one account at a time after that (in semagic, once you've written your entry, go to 'journal' then 'post to multiple journals' and select which ones you want to post to).
