[livejournal.com profile] naughtyelf says that they're showing a new Serenity trailer at LFACC. Anyone want to go? I think I might pop along on Sunday, see Adam Baldwin. I'm free that weekend, I think. Mm :)

ETA: Ah wait, shit, no I'm not. I'm going home that weekend. Damn it.

Aww, that's a shame. I'm going with a few people from my friends list. It would have been nice to meet you :)

You can't change the weekend you go home? Even for Adam Baldwin?

If it were any other weekend, I would, but that is the weekend of the company bbq which I made such a big fuss about going home and avoiding. Also, TMO has now volunteered me to steward at the choir concert she's doing, which is my alibi for going home that weekend, and is on the Sunday evening. I could, theoretically, go to LFACC on Sunday, then go straight home from London to Portsmouth at about 4pm, get there for 6pm and go straight to the concert, but it'd be hard work, and it'd require me to either lie to my coworkers (and I suck at lying) or to confess that while I'll blow them off for a choir concert, I'd blow the choir concert off for Adam Baldwin and some free Firefly stuff. Which, true, but wouldn't go down that well, I think. Anyway, TMO would be so disappointed if I said I wasn't going, and I'll have other chances to see Adam and to get Firefly stuff, I think.
