I was miserable all day, after yet more bloody whinging about how badly I do my job, until about 4.30pm when a phone call to Viking stationary suppliers picked me up. This is how desperate I was for some positive conversation.

*Me and Bloke from Viking chat for a while about stationary*
*I order stuff*
Bloke from Viking: So, while I've got you on the line, can I tell you about our deals of the day?
Me: ... Go on then.

See? Desperate. As it turned out, the deals of the day were paper, which we probably could've done with really, but we're getting this nasty cheap stuff from another supplier that no one but me seems to notice is really shit quality, and desk fans. "Well," I said, "we've just ordered paper today, so we don't need that, and we've got windows, so we don't need desk fans." Comic genius, right here, and no one ever appreciates me. Except the bloke from Viking, who probably would've laughed at anything since I'd just bought some stuff from him. But hey, you've got to take it where you can.

Now? Back to depressed again. Perhaps I should call Viking again, just for a chat.

Oh, also? I decided on the way home that since this weekend is a bank holiday, I'd go home for a few days for a bit of quality peace and quiet (yeah, feel the irony of that statement - going home to TMO for peace and quiet!), but the best laid plans have been scuppered by TPO who randomly decided to call and say, "hey, we've finally got a free weekend (just two months after your birthday! good year!) Want to go see Star Wars this weekend?" It's good, in that it means I'll finally get my iPod speakers and cover, and get to see Star Wars which I'm mostly "eh" about, but I suppose I ought to see it for completeness' sake. (Is it very violent? Someone warn me). But I did want to go home. Might see if I can get TPO to come on Saturday, so I can go home afterwards.

ETA: Had a chat with TMO. Feel better.

Speaking to the question about the violence in Sith, for most of the movie it's a little bit more violent than other Star Wars movies (original and the more recent), but at the end there's a scene that gets a bit gory. Not too bad, but bad enough to warrant a PG-13 here in the States. There's also a scene that's not shown, but if you think about it, could be a harsh mental image.

Yeah, it's got a 12 rating over here, which - being 23 - I should be totally able to cope with, but .. well, sometimes, no. Hmm. Maybe I'll wait until it comes out on video. Thanks very much for letting me know.
