I'm still oscillating wildly between wanting to apply for jobs at Westminster and wanting to wait until the right job comes along. It's a bit dizzying, but I'm getting there.

We've got a big reception tomorrow, speaking of Westminster, and another on Thursday. I've volunteered to not go to the one tomorrow, as someone needs to stay behind at the office to answer the phones, and so I can use the time to do some printing for my BBC event next week while everyone's out. It means I should be on my own in the office for three hours tomorrow afternoon. Nice :) I am going to the event on Thursday though, because it's a media event and a fair few of the people there will also be coming to my event, so I have to go and schmooze.

For now, though, I'm just going to go and enjoy some quality time in Royston Vasey *g*

Ecklie!

*Delighted gasp. Latches onto avatar.*

Lol, I seriously have hardly any idea who you are, but, oh, my avatar explains all. Nice to meet you!

Sorry, Sushie here, Ecklie fan, I was doing random searches when I found your name. Seeing as your the only other person who lists conrad ecklie as an interest I thought I'd drop a line to say hi and, well, hi.

I'm not as scary as I sound, promise.

Heh. It's funny how such a small picture can bridge great divides and get people talking who've never even "met", never mind met before. Nice :) And also, hi :)

It's really quite remarkable that so few people list Ecklie as an interest. The man is a god, and should be appreciated as such.

Nice to meet you :)

Course, course, of course.

I love the man, love hate relationship I guess. Hate him for splitting up the evil, but who couldn't love...

...This smile? We in Australia get King Baby for our next new ep, me having already memorized nearly every ep he's in this season, can't wait. Yes, is god, do, appreciate him very much.

Oh the smile!

Lol, *points to typo up there.*

Splitting up the team.

I know! We're sooooooooooooooooo far behind it's not funny. I found screencaps from King Baby and I was looking at him going awwwww.

Oh, lol, while I'm here, go check out conrad_ecklie the lj journal. That's me, as him, if that makes any sense, at all, whatsoever.

Strangely, I actually read it as "splitting up the team", and didn't notice the typo until you pointed it out. Hehe.

We're pretty far behind here too, we just had King Baby last week or the week before, but I've been downloading them from America because I am impatient ;)

I can't look now, because I'm at work, but I'll check it out tonight.

Likewise, in the sense. I always spell-check my stuff, but somehow it had missed out on telling me that it made no sense.

We have no CSI this week, survivor special last night, something about someone intruding this night plus a movie special. So me=considerably ticked at the network.

And sweet.

As my mum would say, it's all interview experience. You'll lose nothing by applying, will you?

I lose half a day of my remaining days of holiday, and I put myself through the trauma of an interview for a job I don't really want. Interview practice is all well and good, but at this stage I think work practice is better. I can do interviews, piece of cake, but working for a little while longer will give me more things to talk about, and will look better on my CV.

That said, as I mention in my post I am oscillating wildly over the decision, so who knows how soon I'll change my mind about it all *G*
