Hereditary peers face axe:
Labour has promised to remove the remaining hereditary peers from the House of Lords and allow a free vote on its new composition.

But .. what will Malfoy do with his time if he isn't an hereditary peer??!

Oh shut up :P If you wanted to complain about these posts, you had your chance ;)

Do you think Malfoy would spend time with Muggles? Or are you insinuating that all the Hereditary Peers are wizards? ;)

Am loving your posts, btw.

Hah, no. I am sorry, a great number of my posts recently must have been utterly cryptic. I'm refering to a fic written by [livejournal.com profile] blythely where Harry Potter is a Liberal Democrat MP and Malfoy is a hereditary peer in the House of Lords. It's utter, utter genius <3 Can be found and read here (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=blythely&keyword=Corridors+of+Power&filter=all). I highly recommend it.

HEE!!

I got visited by a nice Lib Dem man this afternoon who gave me a sticker to put in my window *looks proudly at shiny sticker*. Am tempted to deface one of those tory ads and stick that next to it. *_*

I have some Lib Dem stickers, but sadly no street-facing windows to display them in.

I feel obliged to mention that defacing posters, which I think count as public property or something, is illegal, and it's probably best not to suggest that the Lib Dems might have anything to do with any such criminal damage, and probably best not to get caught doing it yourself either, just in case.

Hee, I only meant one of those ones from that site. And I wouldn't really stick it in my window as I am scared of the locals. None of whom I can imagine voting Conservative, but still. *laughs*

Heh, that's okay then *g* I know what you mean, I'd be a bit cautious about putting up a sticker, and I live in a pretty decent area.
