emonySenior MPs set for peerage rewards
The number of Blairite peers is set to swell further this week or next after Tony Blair announces the dissolution honours.
Oooh, new peers. Elections, man. Fantastic. I was so sad when I heard they were postponing the announcement, especially when they started suggesting that there might not even be an election until later in the year, or even next year. But there will be, so all is well :)
ETA: I'd like to clarify that it's not a fantastic thing that there'll be more Blairite Peers. Just Peers. It's the political process I like, not The Blair setting up his little empire.
