Sorry to those of you on my flist who have already posted about this, but I think there are some people on my flist who may not be on yours who may be interested in knowing this.

Sean Harry and the wonderful people at Fox (who thought I'd ever type out that sentence without any sarcasm marks?) have arranged it so that there are going to be some tickets available for Serenity convention ticket holders to go and see a special preview test screening (sans SFX and music and stuff) of Serenity in London on Feb 8th at 6.30pm. Go check out the Starfury boards if you've got a Serenity ticket and want to know more.

Me? I'm divided. Do I want to see it without SFX? I do not know.

It's an amazing opportunity, none the less. Wow :)

ETA: I emailed. Now I'll just wait and see.

OMFG. What do I do?! I don't know if I want to see it before it's got music and SFX and it'll be difficult to get home afterwards. But it's an amazing opportunity as you say!

I saw it at the first screening. I got to see an early version, so if they change it, I know what Joss was originally doing. And if you get to see it, we can talk about it!

It's possible to get there and back on the train for me. It'll cost me about 28 quid and I'll have to get a taxi home. But Serenity!!

No, you do seem to be running a little low on holiday, and although it would be very cool, it's probably not really worth it. It's probably better to just see the finished version in September.
