Flathunting, or not

emonyUpdating my earlier post - we've looked more closely at all the agency documents and stuff, and while I can probably just about cover the rent and the deposit, I can't afford all the agency deposits and fees and charges and god only knows what else. So in short - I am fucked. Don't know what to do at all. Live in a cardboard box, maybe? Fuck it. Why is nothing ever simple.
ETA: Also, I was going to donate to the DEC appeal, but I just checked out their website and one of the member organisations is WorldVision, which, according to my most learn-ed mother (and their own website, I think), is mostly about spreading evangelical Christianity. I don't think I really want my hard-earned cash helping to spread the word of Jesus to those poor people in Asia. If they want to believe in it, fine, that's their thing, but I want to buy them blankets and water, not bibles and lessons in why we're all going to burn in Hell. *frown* I think I'll donate directly to the Red Cross or something.
