I ordered a replacement iPod for Chandra directly from Apple today. No more messing about going to shops, it'll just be delivered to me. Nice.

We're off to somewhere, not sure exactly where yet, tomorrow to search for a flat. TMO is already doing her cranky routine that caused so much trauma last time I "left", and I'm not going for two weeks, so god knows how that's going to go. Wretched woman.

I'm starting my new job on the 24th, which works out well I think. I hope it will anyway. They emailed today and said that was fine as a start date, and as it happened there's a reception at the House of Commons that evening and would I like to go. Omg!! I love my new job already :D

I want to write more fic, but I'm feeling totally blank and empty and uninspired at the moment, which sucks. I haven't even managed to write anything for my Buffy episode titles challenge, although some of you have which is very cool, thank you. Le sigh. I think too much Sims 2 has fried my brain.

I finished season 1 of CSI today. Mmm :) Such goodness. I love season 1. I'm looking forward to season 2 too. The second half of Invisible Man, s1 though - not as good as the first half. Some of it is positively lame. Sorry, but there it is. Some of it's good, but not all. Oh well. Today is the first time there's been a new season 5 CSI ep in the US that I haven't been able to dl, since I have no broadband anymore. Let me tell you, it sucks :( But I read a few bits and pieces on it on LJ, so I don't feel too out of the loop. I know the important detail anyway *G* The rest is probably better when I imagine in myself anyway. There's more boykissing in my version.

I really have nothing else interesting to say. I'm sorry the fics I posted on Wednesday sucked. I may pull them down and rewrite them. Or just scrap the second half of Dark Magic AU. It should've ended a lot time ago, that one. I have made it my new years resolution not to post anything until it's a). finished and b). been beta read from now on. We'll see how that goes.

Yes. Because it so often happens that you post fic and I fail to respond.

Neon signs would be cool! Or just mention it in the one billion emails we send a day. Either one is fine. ;)

I think I've just been a bit distracted by being away from the net, house hunting, Sims, and iPods. My brain only has so much space for noticing things, you know ;) Next time, though, I promise I'll remember to mention anything fic related.
