Omg job interview tomorrow morning. First proper job interview ever. Except for one I had at KPMG last summer, and that pretty much sucked. But hey, I can do this. I think. I wasn't nervous until my family descended today and starting telling me what I ought to wear and discussing what will happen "when" I move to Newbury or Chertsey. Now, now I am nervous. Meep :( They mean well, I know, and it's nice that they have faith in me, but now that I've picked out some clothes and packed up a nice bag (not my usual crappy bag) to take, I'm just feeling the start of that "about to hurl" nervousness that I get. Damn it.

I feel like I've eaten nothing but bread, cheese, and cake all weekend. Mostly cake. I want some proper food! I want some pasta! But I can't eat now, because I'm too nervous. Vicious circle, or something.

I've got to get the train at about 8am tomorrow, which will be fun. Heading up to Woking with all the commuters. Yay.

Please feel free to send me good karma tomorrow :)

Ooooh, good luck.

*puts responsible and sensible adult hat on*

Remember that even if you don't get the job, it's all good interview practice.

Hah, nice hat! And thank you, yes, that's very true. My mother says it now and then, but she also gets this mad glint in her eyes and I just know she's spending my as yet unexistent salary doing up my as yet unexistent flat and popping up to visit for the weekend in her mind. I know it's still true though.

Here is some pre-emptive karma. You can't see it, but it's here.

Also, don't think about the interview afterwards. Bring a book is my advice. After my last interview, I called my mother, read Brokeback Mountain (picture my face in the cafe when Ennis takes Jack one morning), then I did other things. That day I was fine. It was the next six that killed me.

Cheering, aren't I?

But best of luck tomorrow. I know you'll be brilliant. You're smart, articulate, and you have boots and a bag. They'll adore you. :)

Heh, thank you :)

That's a good idea, I may do that, although my bag is getting heavier and heavier! *g*

I have boots. Nothing can go wrong! :)

Good luck, hon.

You'll do well, and don't feel bad if nothing comes out of it. Getting there is something and the experience will help you.

Go look like an adult.

(we all know we can pretend to be grown-up in RL and keep sekrit LJs where we do the fangrrling)
