Matrix, Job Centre, CSI<3

I have finally seen the Matrix. I know, I am the last person in the western hemisphere to see it, but now I have. It was all right. Didn't change my world or anything. I suppose if I'd seen it at the time it came out, I would've been like "woah, so cool!!" but that bullet-time stuff is so passe these days - I mean, they do it every week on Smallville, fcol - it's just not that special anymore. And the storyline, didn't really engage me that much. I suppose I've just read too many dystopian novels to be that affected by terrible visions of the future. Or something. Whatever, it was okay. Except Trinity, who was annoying.

I went to the job centre today, and made my appointment to sign on, which means unemployment benefit will soon be coming my way. Which is nice. I'd rather have a job, obviously, but since no one is willing to even interview me, I have little choice. The woman at the job centre (not the bloody labour exchange!!!) was very nice, and I have an appointment on Monday, and a stack of forms to fill in. That's tomorrow full then.

I finished season 3 of CSI today. Play with Fire hurt - *hurt* - to watch. I was like "omg, Greg gets blown up, and you make it All About Sara?!?!" But we all have our issues. I'm not entirely sure what the point of blowing the lab up was though. It was just a silly accident, but it didn't seem to contribute to anything except Catherine getting told off a bit, which also didn't seem, to me, to contribute to anything outside that single storyline. I suppose we got to see Greg get blown up, which was traumatic and stuff, but .. Well, anyway, it's all good. My love affair with CSI continues. I've downloaded the first three eps of season 5 now, and I'm going to watch them as soon as I have time. I'm also going to go through season 3 again and get the screen caps I want to make some pretty icons. There are so many potential Nick shots to capture, I don't know where to begin! I looked at .. High and Low today, for something else, and just thought yeah, every single Nick scene, there are shots that could be icons, just on their own, because he is so pretty to look at. Mmm :) I <3 CSI. Oh yes I do. In case you didn't realise ;)

Also, my new ethernet cable? It's *blue*!! Bright freaking blue! I adore it :D

Yup, I have that plan for many cute little geeks. Of course, I have a lot less cleavage since the surgery, but it sould be enough, as long as I stuff the geeks in one at a time.

I hate to rob you of your crown, but. *ahem*Ihaven'tseenityet*ahem*. In my defence I missed it in the cinema and am waiting for the ultimate Includes Keanu's Bootlaces dvd set... *sigh* I'm a bad geek.
