I can't quite believe this. John Peel. The man is an institution. His poor family :( He was far, far too young and too talented for such a sudden, untimely end.

Tell me about it. I clicked randomly on BBC News Online earlier and actually did that 'strangled cry' thing we read about in books. He's someone I've always respected HUGELY and known that he cares about music as much as (more, in fact) I do. Man afuckinglive.

And all my mum could say. "It's a shame. Who's going to do the voiceover for Life of Grime now?" You can imagine my reply.

Yes, TMO always listened to Home Truths when she could, and the few times I heard that he just seemed like a genuine, decent person. :(

As far as I know, my mother doesn't know yet, as she's away. She really enjoyed Home Truths, she's going to be very upset. It's just unfair.
