Sunday was good. Almost all the family gathered for cousin H's 18th birthday. It was nice to see everyone.

I have been asked to attend a seminar this evening at which Secretary of State for the Dept of Culture Media and Sport, Tessa Jowell, is speaking about the BBC Green Paper. Downside: will miss CSI. Upside: am proving self an asset to company. Downside: I look like a scruffy student. Upside: Yay Westminster :)

Will be there at about 6.30pm tonight. Should be interesting, and possibly useful, and if nothing else will hopefully help me keep my job a bit longer.
