Work
One down, one to go. *yawn* Today's lecture went okay. It was packed, and the speech went very well. The panel didn't have enough time, and there were a few tense moments, when the AOL spyware scanner popped up in the middle of Ed Richards of Ofcom's speech *cringe* and when one of the speakers decided, at the last minute, not to use her Powerpoint slides, which had already been inserted into the main presentation, and therefore just had to be skipped over.
The AOL spyware got a big laugh though, and Ed made a joke of it, and it was all fine. It's over, at least. Tomorrow's is the whole day one that's going to kick my arse. The agenda has changed *again*. I've no idea what's going on. But tomorrow it's not my problem. I've just got to change the PowerPoints and then I'm set. Someone else has to deal with all the crap. Thank god.
I brought back loads of cake and biscuits though. They were left over, and they were just going to throw them away. I loaded up as many serviettes as I could carry, and they're sitting on the table downstairs to be eaten by my house now. :)
I need a "work" icon. Except I don't, after tomorrow, because there won't be anything to say about work until October. But I should still get one. In preparation.
Are the H/Hr fans really that nuts over HBP? I did wonder, after H/G and R/Hr got together, if things would implode a bit. But there are ways around it! Don't dispair, my H/Hr friends (do I have any apart from
apolla? I don't know..). Fandom exists to make all things possible. <3
Oh, also? Ann Widdecombe to the rescue is the best programme EVAH! :D

Que sera sera, as Godber once said (to which Fletcher replied 'Kiss her what?')
The nutcase hardcore are going nuts over it, of course, but most of us are like "whatever dude. Harry got to be happy for a full two minutes? It's about time."
More importantly- glad your thing went OK.

I think some of the hardcore Remus/Sirius folks went a bit nuts too, with Tonks and all. Ah well. Fandom will settle itself again in time.
Thanks :) *hugs*
