Know your limits?? What does that mean?!

It's a quote from The Fast Show. It was on the 50 greatest comedy sketches last night, so it's in my head. The sketch is the 40s style public information video about how women ought to stop trying to do things, like driving motorcars, and concentrate on things they are good at, like knitting and kittens. It's funniest when you can hear it all said in received pronunciation, and can see the accompanying video.
